The children from the divorce boom of 1980 where divorce was at the highest say they wouldn’t have what they went through also happen to their kids as well.
Since 1980 divorces have been in a decline. According to a study made by National Marriage Project from the University of Virginia, 11 percent of the 37 percent of the rest of the population divorce within the first 10 years of marriage. Some think it’s because of how they present divorce in the news and in T.V. shows and how badly the kids turn out after a divorce, so to prevent this they would try to stay together for as long as they can.
